Welcome to Acupuncture Clinic Kilkenny

Acupuncture originated in China thousands of years ago and is part of an integrated system of health care known as Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It is now growing in popularity in the western world and is used in pain management and in the prevention and treatment of disease. It is approved for the treatment of a range of conditions by the World Health Organisation .

Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine, sterile, single-use needles  which stimulate specific, reactive points of the body’s own healing response helping to restore its natural balance..

Acupuncture is a safe and gentle treatment, which is often accompanied by feelings of deep relaxation and well-being.
